The Dave Matthews Band returned to Richmond after 30 years to play their first summer show at Alliance Amphitheater Riverfront in Richmond, VA. They played two shows on July 15 & 16 to sold out crowds.

A perfect little theater in the heart of Cambridge and Harvard University, The Sinclair was packed with Carbon Leaf faithful on this beautiful fall night in Boston. Although there was barely any room to move around, the fans graciously stepped aside whenever I needed to grab a photo.

The Head and The Heart filled Ting Pavillon on a warm night in July. With two opening acts, it took some time before the group took the stage, but the crowd was very willing to wait. The band seemed to be at home, so much so that they even brought their labradoodle out for the final song.

Brown’s Island – Richmond, VA
One of the best places to see a band in Richmond, Va. is on Brown’s Island. For years the home of Friday Cheers, on this evening the California band Dawes and touring guest Bahamas took the stage together to play for the Richmond crowd.
